Adapture Renewables, a utility-scale solar and energy storage owner and operator announced the close of $233 million in tax equity financing from U.S. Bank for two of the three projects within its Titanium Solar portfolio — a major milestone as the 441 MW, three-site portfolio advances toward commercial operations in 2026. The three Titanium Solar projects were originally developed by the ETX Upstream team during their tenured leadership of Galehead Development, including a pioneering MISO market strategy, site selection powered by LandCommand®, and turnkey development from project conception through the mid-stage sale of the projects to TED Renewables. TED Renewables financed and managed late-stage development including the sale to Adapture.
The Titanium portfolio spans Cross County, Arkansas and two sites in Illinois (Coles County and Marion County), and will deliver clean energy to Meta Platforms under long-term Environmental Attributes Purchase Agreements across all three sites. Construction on the Titanium portfolio commenced in September 2024, supported by a $321 million debt facility from MUFG secured in March 2025. The U.S. Bank tax equity close brings total project financing to over $550 million across the portfolio.
Once operational, Titanium's three sites are expected to generate enough clean energy to power more than 71,000 homes annually. All three projects are sited in Department of Energy-designated Energy Communities, reinforcing Adapture's commitment to delivering economic value alongside clean power — including construction jobs and long-term tax revenue — to regions that can benefit most from the energy transition.
The Titanium portfolio represents one of the largest solar portfolios currently under construction in the MISO region, and a strong proof point for the depth of the MISO Illinois and Arkansas markets first identified and developed by the ETX Upstream team.
Congratulations to the Adapture Renewables team, their project partners, TED Renewables and the ETX Upstream/Galehead alumni that contributed to these projects' incredible success!
